BENEATH THE BLADE is a Fire Emblem: Three Houses writing-centric anthology based on the five year time skip in-game.

In a collection of written works, each focused on a different student, the anthology hopes to explore the growths and changes that the students of the Officers Academy went through as war ravaged their home.

Is this a physical zine or a digital one? Will there be any merch included?

Beneath the Blade will be released as a digital zine and will not include any merchandise. Proceeds will go to charity.

What is the zine's rating?

Aside from any canon-typical violence, the zine is PG-13 and SFW.

Will there be ships?

Ships will not be the focus of our zine, but there may be implied pairings as long as they are appropriate and are SFW.

Who are the mods? Do they have any prior zine experience?

Beneath the Blade has three moderators: our artist and graphics moderator, Jess; our writer and social media moderator, Ren; and our writer and admin moderator, Haru. You can find our moderator spotlights over on Twitter!

How do I contribute to the anthology?

Unfortunately, contributor applications are now closed. However, we would love to have you stay with us and look forward to the finished product!

Which characters will be represented in the anthology?

Our zine will feature students only, and we aim to have content created for every character, either written or in art form!

Through Discord and Twitter. Contributors will be contacted on Discord, and for all public updates, we will be posting on Twitter.
